Ascent’s Homebuilding and Renovating Magazine approached us with a request to shoot a video for one of their national clients. Urban Front wanted a video that reflected the quality craftsmanship and service they provide with their bespoke, Contemporary Steel Reinforced Solid Wood Doors, designed and made in the UK.

The client knew what they wanted regarding the look of the video and we chose a local film maker, Simon, who we knew would be able to provide this for them. They had booked a full day’s filming which meant they could spend a lot more time capturing everything they wanted to include in the video.

The client was keen to film in their showroom and workshop where we were able to gather plenty of action shots of the doors being designed and created. We interviewed the owners and they explained where the idea came from and how the business came to be.

We then took a short trip to a local property where Urban Front had designed and custom made a new door for a new build home. We captured some great shots of the door in use, allowing us to see the unique hinge action and quality of fitting on site. We interviewed the homeowner who was extremely pleased with the service she had received from Urban Front. We also interviewed the architect and builder who explained how easy it was to decide to use their doors in new plans and and working with them during the build.

We are so happy with the video and how it represents us! And thank you so much for such great customer service! We felt that we had a lot of opportunity to make changes and to improve on an already fantastic video! And Simon was great as well! All very professional. Kindest Regards – Elizabeth Assaf – Designer

After the filming, we gave Urban Front plenty of options when it came to editing the video, to ensure that the video was exactly what they needed. We did have a few concerns about some of the music choices they made, where they wanted us to use some of the most famous pieces in advertising. As these would have pushed the budgets beyond the limits, we suggested some royalty free music from our library that may have worked as an alternative, which they were very happy with in the end. The editing process ran very smoothly and Urban Front were able to explain exactly what they wanted and where, to create the video that they are now proud to post on their website.

Both Urban Front and Homebuilding and Renovating have the video posted in their website, and are enjoying plenty of video views through great promotion in the Magazine website.
